I can’t tell how I was totally intoxiated by her voice in this album called White Birds. Sarah Fimm is an indepentant New York artist whose voice is best suitable for midnight listening. Her album may not be that well-know like those pop stars, but accasional listening of it makes me happy and indulge.
“CountingWaves”, “TamaraSong” that’s two song makes me dream like a happy child in the night. Cotton voice in heaven. Living proof that independent artists still exist!
There’s nothing disappointing about her latest endeavor! Every song on here is worth listening to. “Counting Waves” has finished off an entire pack of batteries by itself! If you like Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, or Kate Havnevik, you’ll most definitely love Fimm!
Her cotton voice appeals to your heart, nothing commercial, just feeling the truth. If you haven’t heard of her, that’s no strange, I was very lucky to find this amazing album on my Ipod podcast. It’s really a surprise.

Silver Screen – The Greatest Story Never Told
That’s the album I’m listening for a whole afternoon last sunday afternoon, when the sun is so fierce outside, while I’m enjoying such a joyful Indie Pop, holding my favarite cotton cushion, feeling very cozy and happy.
The song I like best is “Something to Prove” and “She Counts the Rain”, it makes my heart soft and warm.
Let me share the lyric with you: “something to prove”
Not very long ago we were born in a time of wildest elation
running in fields of green touching ecstasy with long fingers of candy
and place to place
this how we spent our days
hate to say goodbye good night I can’t stay
in secret places we’ll go hide and shut ourselves from all the world outside
I’ll hold you like a breath of air for centuries I’ve kept with gentle care
though we made plans for all our days to come until we both grow old
we’ll start our dreams again repeat the greatest story never told
I don’t want to realise none of this is
real but how can we wonder
when everything that’s near makes it
crystal clear
that we’re fooling ourselves
but in this place
we call our own you just may find
one last way you’ll try you’ll find you just might stay
in secret places we’ll go hide remove ourselves from all the world outside
I’ll hold you like a breath of air for centuries I’ve
kept with gentle care
though we made plans for all our days to come until we both grow old
we’ll start our dreams again repeat the greatest story never told
